Dr. Ali Reza Montazemi is a Professor of Information Systems, and SAP-University Alliance Coordinator at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He received his M.Sc. from University of Southampton, England and his Ph.D from University of Waterloo, Canada. He is a Distinguished Member of Association of Information Systems.
Research and Notable Accomplishments
His interests include knowledge management, computer-mediated communication systems, social networks, business process design through information technology, and artificial intelligence. He has published over 120 scientific articles, one textbook, three monographs, and three software packages. His publications have appeared in journals and conference proceedings, including Journal of Management Information Systems, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information&Management, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, and International Conference on Information Systems.
Administrative Positions
Dr. Montazemi has served on the editorial board of European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Government Research, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, and others, and has co-chaired Americas Conference on Information Systems.

Professor Montazemi has a diverse corporate teaching experience, industrial research and consulting in Canada, U.S.A., South-East Asia, Europe, and Middle East.
